As president and chief executive officer of 7 Streets Financial, Travis Lewis develops custom retirement plans that take into account each client’s current financial situation, goals for the future and any challenges that may stand in the way of achieving those goals. He works with clients to improve their financial quality of life, address their specific concerns and plan for retirement.
Travis has a particular interest in working with Fortune 500 employees, which stems from his experience as a child. When Travis was a junior in high school, his father was laid off from General Dynamics. As a result, his family needed to move to Minneapolis, Minnesota, as he was beginning his senior year. Witnessing the financial challenges his father faced following his layoff prompted Travis to pursue a career in financial planning with a goal of having a positive impact on people’s financial lives.
Travis has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. His background includes working as a life insurance agent for American United Life, as an educator at FinancialAid.com and as a client financial analyst at Citibank, where he specialized in client and business banking with an emphasis on investment and business insurance.
Travis has a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University in San Marcos, California. He has passed the FINRA Series 6, 7 and 63 exams and is a licensed insurance agent in the state of California. He is currently pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation through the University of California’s financial planning program.
